I got to visit with my Kenyan friend, Dickson, this weekend while he was in Dallas, and it made me smile from the inside out! Hearing about the sweet kids that have stolen my heart just felt good. I could've sat all day an listened to the stories. I am so proud of their strength, accomplishments, and zeal for life. They are an encouragement and a remarkable picture of the Lord's goodness. I had no idea how much my life would change as I travelled to Kenya that first time, and I had no idea that there were people in a place so far away that could capture my heart. Turns out....it did, and they did. I long for the day I get to return!
