Momma

A mother is someone who dreams great dreams for you, but then she lets you chase the dreams you have for yourself and loves you just the same.  –Author unknown

If I were so eloquent with words, I would’ve said that myself.  ha!  I have been blessed with a Momma who had/has big dreams for me, who has taught me to dream big, and who has allowed me the chance to follow my dreams.  She even let me chase crazy dreams that remarkably changed my life. 

Travelling the world was one of my dreams.  She helped make that happen for my first trip, and she even supported my crazy travels thereafter.  Before every trip I took, she would say, “have so much fun, be safe, and get back home soon.”  My reply was always, “you know if the plane goes down on the first leg of the flight, then I died happy.  If it’s after 20 hours of travel, I was pretty pissed.”  Ha!  What a sweet, darling child she has.  ;)  Really, though, if she hadn’t been supportive of the things I’ve tried and done in life, my heart wouldn’t be the same.  I would’ve missed out on so much that I love so dearly.  For that I am so grateful.

I couldn’t have made it through this life without her, and I wouldn’t have wanted to, either.
