Sisters are the best!

My sister called on the way to work this morning.  I usually don’t talk to people in the mornings, because I’m not a morning person, and that’s just a better situation for all.  Today, against my better judgment, I answered my sister's call.  It went like this:

Leslee:  What are you doing?

Me:  Driving to work.

Leslee:  Driving to work???

Me:  Yes.  What are you doing?

Leslee:  Waiting to go to school.

Me:  Did you sleep good last night?

Leslee:  Yes

Me:  That’s good.  Well, I hope you have a good day today. 

Leslee:  Have fun at work today, Yndeee.  I’ll have fun at school today.  Yove You.  Bye.

I was really glad I picked up this morning, though. I ended the conversation encouraged, happy, and with a great perspective for the day. My sister has a way of doing that sometimes. I was reminded that I could choose, just as she was, to have “fun” today. Count me in!!!  And maybe, I'll consider answering her calls a little more often in the mornings.  :)
